Competitions Secretary, Angie Allsopp, reported that 60 ladies played in this event. It was a breezy day but the sunshine made the round very enjoyable for everyone. We were very well looked after by all the staff at Heacham Manor. The course particularly was in very good condition, and my thanks must go to Chris Wooley, Lady Captain, who helped me all day on the desk. We raised just over £200 on the raffle.

104 ladies had a perfect autumn day for playing golf after a wet and windy week. 30 teams had entered the event but sadly the course could only accommodate 26 teams with a two tee start. Everyone had a great day with the majority staying for the prizegiving. Prizes were presented for 1st to 5th places and this year's winners of the Judith Mackinnon salver were Gini Hutton, Sophie de Winton, Helen Carroll and Bo Tyler from Middleton Hall, Heacham Manor and Hunstanton with a fabulous score of 86 points. The Society is very grateful to everyone who entered the raffle which raised £361 for the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital Charity. Big thanks to Swaffham Golf Club for their beautifully presented course, starters, catering and organisation.

The Spring Four Ball Betterball Stableford was held at Sheringham Golf Club on 17th April 2023. 96 ladies from 15 clubs played in the Spring 4BBB - our first competition of the year. The club made us very welcome and the course was in excellent condition, particularly the gorse which was in full bloom. The indoor staff catered to our needs and we received a great deal of help from the members especially with the starting. Congratulations to all the prizewinners. Our next event is the Championship which is being held at Wensum Valley on Wednesday 14 June. Handicaps 0 to 21.0 will play a Medal and handicaps 21.1 to 36.0 will play a Stableford.
